A bit about me…

My name is Louisa Hill.

I take on clients 1-to-1, deliver corporate workshops on healthy living, and deliver a 3 month Adult Weight Management programme for Enable, a London-based Charity.

Why did I become a Health Coach?

I have always been drawn to human behaviour and mental health which lead me to study Psychology BSc at the University of Birmingham. After graduating, I spent 6 months working as a Behavioural (ABA) Therapist for children on the Autism Spectrum.

In my studies and therapeutic work, wellbeing was treated as a cognitive issue to be managed with medication. Diet, sleep, and lifestyle were largely overlooked — despite their profound impact on both physical and mental health.

I qualified as a Health Coach with the Collage of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM.Dip). I am a member of the Association of Naturopaths (ANP).

There was little recognition of how mental health is influenced by:

  • Gut health

  • Menstrual cycle stages

  • Fatigue

  • Hydration

BUT THEN I came across Naturopathy - a holistic approach to health that uses natural therapies, like diet, herbs, exercise, and water, to support the body's inherent ability to heal itself, avoiding drugs and surgery. It focuses on treating the root cause of illness by empowering individuals with lifestyle changes for overall wellness, emphasizing principles like "the healing power of nature" (vis medicatrix naturae) and treating the whole person (body, mind, spirit). 

I found Naturopathy so empowering, and through diet and lifestyle changes I was able to support my body through difficult times, both physically and mentally.

I studied to become a Health Coach at the Collage of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) in order to learn more about how to holistically look at people and understand behavioural changes needed to achieve sustainable healthy living.

Now, armed with the ability to look at the body holistically and understanding of human behaviour and motivation, I can support people like you to become the best version of yourself.
